Chiedere. C’è chi ne ha paura, e non si capisce il perchè. Sì, perchè chiedere è un dovere, prim’ancora che un diritto inalienabile. Se chiedi, forse sai. Se non chiedi, rimani ignorante. Non stimoli i fatti. Non pungoli la vita. Rimani piatto, assuefatto e anestetizzato per mano di chi invece dovrebbe essere il destinatario dei dubbi e delle azioni con/seguenti. Come per esempio scrivere ai vertici del governo USA, in una Correspondence for Explana(c)tion, E-nucleating the Lucania Nuclear!

C’è chi ha sete di fatti, si pone interrogativi, richiede risposte, non si pone limiti e ricerca la trasparenza, come fanno i giornalisti Ivano Farina e Nicola Piccenna dalle pagine di Karakteria, pubblicando Lettere al presidente degli USA sul trsporto della Trisaia. La loro lettera chiede riscontro. Merita riflessione e azione. La tanto celebre “libertà di stampa”, la tradizione di “libertà” e “democrazia”  di cui si fanno campioni gli statunitensi – loro presidente in testa – sono alla base deludente e disorientante delle non-risposte alle richieste formali inoltrate alle Agenzie preposte.

Quanto ho pubblicato – e ringrazio Ivano e Nicola per averlo ripreso – non pretende  sotto(i)scrizione. Forse può essere copiato. O addirittura incollato. Da chi? Dai Lucani, certamente. E da tutti gli italiani che pensano sia ora di smetterla, di farla finita con gli imperialismi, nostrani e stranieri. Benvenuti tutti coloro anche fuori dall’Italia-stan che credono sia giunta l’ora di cambiare. Subject: explanation about the HEU transfer from the  ITREC in Rotondella (Mt); aim of the use for the uranium taken (civilian or military one); withdrawal from Italian land with immediate disengagement.

Dear Mssrs,

I am writing You this letter in order to ask  You to inform and explain the facts as  follow.

 I come from Lucania, a South-Italy Region. In that territory there is the ITREC, placed in Center for Nuclear Energy (ENEA) at Rotondella  (Matera  Province).

In that nuclear depot are secured the nuclear bars originating from Elk River. They were moved over there at the end of the sixties. And still they are.

In the night between last July the 28th and the 29th, at 3:00 am there have occurred a nuclear stockpile classified transportation from ITREC. A few hours after, and via a press release by SOGIN, we have been acquainted with that operation concerned the transfer of nearly 1kg of  uranium forwarded to the Gioia del Colle (Bari) airbase.

We did learn that  the nuclear stock pile object of the transfer should be delivered  to your  country, the USA. Or rather, this is an induced assumption, since anything else has been told, and there are not  news covering the facts.

I am not asking You to reveal or disclose secret files  of  Your Administration.  Rather, I am asking You to:

Expedite Yourself to return to Your own country all the Elk River nuclear bars taking them from ITREC;

Inform where the nuclear stock pile were or  is still addressed;

Whether the nuclear stock pile moved will be used for energetic or military aims;

Explain why a civilian operation on Italian territory needed the participation of the Army and of the Security Agencies of  both the countries involved,  Italy and the USA ones.

Considering that Italian Government, its Departments of the Interior, for Health, of  the Environment, of Defense, of Tourism and of Economic Development are not releasing any acceptable press bulletins/information, I am asking You to explain what happened, i.e.:

Whether the nuclear stock pile transfer were to enter or to exit the ITREC;

Why the majors of the towns and villages involved in the supposed transfer route have not been alerted;

Why Your Administration did not have release any notice or  news about those  facts yet;

 Going beyond the Seoul agreement of the October 2012 or any agreement stated between Your and the Italian Government, I do ask you to immediately write down a document in which is reported without any further delay  the Italy disengagement by whatever the nuclear protocol with the USA, i.e:

To immediately clear Italy by all Your own  nuclear and radioactive stockpile;

I do ask You to release a note in which You can assert whether the ITREC is under military control, Yours or Italian Government or both of you, and which are the documents sealed on this regard; but, above all, the reasons of  this military control;

In the end, considering that the Mediterranean is a strategic  base – as much as Italy central position – for Your Government, USA and NATO Military Forces, I do ask You to withdraw from Italian land.  That is, all bases are going to be closed and dismantled.

Because we cannot  pay with our health, with the lack of safety and freedom, with the lack of  the possibility to move, Your presence in the name of a security that  de facto does not exist. I am frightened and terrified by nuclear accidents occurrence in the South and/or  in the rest of  Italy, as well as having retaliation for your military actions by attacking Mediterranean or Middle East countries  which Italy has always been having relationships of great friendship with, sharing social, economic, geopolitics, but above all cultural interests.

 An ultra-century-old culture at this point victim of the Mediterranean area occupation and endless colony in collusion with Italian and European Governments. Friendship and freedom that should  come back to spread after the repayment of the debt contract via the ERP. But, because of the ERBD establishment,  Your  country is still playing a leading role with very substantial investments  in this area since 1991.

International relationship among nations does not  mean to quarter their army and equipment,  having their  bases and nuclear stockpiles – as active  as waste disposal. No: we cannot keep on paying for decision from the top.

Writing You, this text can be extended also to the United Kingdom and France Governments, imperialist-colonialist and nevertheless warmonger and militarist, besides of being engaged in actions of unsustainable energy actions.

I am sure You will understand my opinion and position  even if it is too peculiar compared to the “big picture” of  the geopolitics strategies that You continually sell worldwide.
